Most Plarail trains are reproduction of real japanese models, from all eras.

 But Tomy also reproduced few trains from other countries.

Here is the BTS SkyTrain (Bangkok Mass Transit System). It's an urban rail.
A very attractive model Hard to find.

The BTS SkyTrain is a heavy rail dual track electric mass Transit railway. Train bodies are made from stainless steel, with electric motors powered by electrical current supplied from a third rail, all controlled by computer.

BTS SkyTrain is Bangkok's fastest, safetest and most reliable environmentally friendly means of transport, carrying more than 1000 passengers per train.

Twin Trams 5100 and 3000

Type 5100 "Greenmovermax" tramcar

Two very similar trams manufactured by Tomy on the same special model,

cars are not attached by classic white hooks and the engine is in the middle car.

  Type 3000 (Nagasaki) and type 5100 "Greenmovermax" (Hiroshima).

They were sold at the same time, and already retired.

Fragile,I would not recommend buying these trains for children.

3000 and 5100 boxed

3000 series can still be found fairly easily, but the "Greenmovermax"

is harder to find and becoming rare.

D51 - 1971

This is a very old D51 with front switch.

Made in Japan 1971 and remained in good condition.

I was born in 1975, how many owners has ever had this train on the last forty years?
